Our dedicated leadership team is committed to fostering an innovative education that empowers students to reach their full potential. Through visionary guidance and strategic initiatives, they inspire students to achieve academic excellence, develop strong leadership skills and embrace a lifelong commitment to service.

With input from the campus community, the University president, Provost, Board of Trustees and other senior leaders develop a strategic plan, budget and policies that shape the university’s future. These leaders guide the institution’s academic direction, foster faculty excellence and ensure a supportive environment for student success.

Susquehanna University President

Jonathan D. Green, Susquehanna’s 15th president, has led the university in excellence since 2017. Green holds a doctorate of musical arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Susquehanna University’s Office of the President provides vision, leadership and direction for the university.

Susquehanna University Provost

Dave Ramsaran joined Susquehanna in 2000 as assistant professor of sociology and anthropology and was named provost and dean of the faculty in 2019. As Susquehanna University Provost, Ramsaran oversees academic programs, faculty development and the overall pursuit of academic excellence.

Susquehanna University Board of Trustees

The University Board of Trustees is a governing body that oversees the long-term health and direction of Susquehanna University. This body is responsible for setting the university’s vision and goals, managing its finances, hiring and evaluating administrators, approving academic programs, fundraising, and promoting the university’s reputation.
