Tutoring and Academic Services
Susquehanna University’s Center for Academic Success (CAS) offers support to all students with tutoring, learning resources, disability services and guidance through academic transitions. We help you build upon your academic strengths, navigate university policies and processes, and connect you with campus resources to achieve your academic goals.
CAS services are available at no cost to all Susquehanna students.
Tutoring Services
Susquehanna University peer tutors help other students succeed, with supportive one-on-one and group tutoring in many subjects. Tutors review material, explain concepts and encourage discussion in a professional manner. The Center for Academic Success offers tutoring in writing math languages and study skills.

Academic Skills
Academic peer tutors at Susquehanna help their fellow students enhance their learning strategies. Providing support in time management, organization, reading comprehension, note-taking and test preparation, peer tutors also help students create study groups and work effectively in groups.

Academic Warning, Probation and Suspension
Students on academic probation or warning are strongly encouraged to utilize both academic skills and subject-specific tutoring services. For further information on academic standing, please refer to the Academic Probation and Suspension webpage.
Request a Withdrawal
As a student, you might be considering whether taking a leave of absence from the university is the right decision for you based on your individual circumstances at this time. The Center for Academic Success understands the various reasons why you might need to take some time away and has outlined steps below to help you make an informed decision — and how to re-enroll in classes when you return. Returning to the University
Susquehanna University welcomes back to campus students who have taken time away from their studies and provides support and guidance to returning students to help them succeed their in their academic journey back to college.
Students who left due to non-voluntary reasons should refer to their leave of absence letter for specific return guidelines. Additional requirements may apply for students returning after medical, academic or disciplinary suspensions.
